Ramadan and Eid Gift Guide: Honey, Ghee and Dry Fruit Hampers
Choosing a Ramadan or Eid gift that is actually used — by budget, with delivery timings.
A honey gift is the default at Ramadan and Eid, which is exactly why most of them are forgettable.
Food gifts are the default at Ramadan and Eid, which is exactly why most of them are forgettable. A jar that gets opened at sehri every day is a better gift than a box that sits in a cupboard until next year.
Honey gift ideas by budget
| Budget | Suggestion | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Under Rs 1,000 | Organic Pure Honey 500g | Used daily; nothing about it is ceremonial |
| Rs 1,000 – 2,500 | Royal Honey with Dry Fruits | Reads as a gift without needing packaging |
| Rs 2,000 – 3,000 | Sidr Honey | The variety people know by name but rarely buy for themselves |
| Rs 3,000+ | Desi Ghee with honey | Both get used through Ramadan cooking |
Ordering in time
Courier networks slow down in the last ten days of Ramadan and in the two days before Eid. Working backwards from our published timings:
- Islamabad and Rawalpindi: order at least 4 days ahead
- Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot: at least 6 days ahead
- Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, Abbottabad: at least 8 days ahead
City-by-city delivery windows are listed on the delivery areas page.
Sending to someone else's address
Enter the recipient's address at checkout and add a note in the delivery-notes field. Orders are cash on delivery by default, so tell us in that note if you are paying and the parcel is going elsewhere, and we will arrange it.
Corporate and bulk orders
For office gifting or quantities beyond a few jars, contact us with the quantity and destination city and we will quote. Lead times for bulk are longer than the retail timings above, particularly in Ramadan.
What we would not suggest
Do not buy honey as a gift on price alone. A very cheap jar is usually blended and heated, which is fine for cooking and disappointing as a present. If the budget is tight, a smaller jar of something good beats a large jar of something anonymous — the reasoning is in our price guide.
Why food gifts so often disappoint
The usual Ramadan hamper is chosen for how it looks unwrapped, not for whether anyone will eat it. Elaborate boxes of assorted sweets tend to be opened once and put away. A single good jar of something used every day at sehri and iftar gets finished, which is a better outcome for both the giver and the receiver.
What travels well
Honey and ghee both travel well: they are shelf-stable, they do not need refrigeration, and they survive a courier network under seasonal load. Anything requiring a cold chain does not. If you are sending to another city during the last ten days of Ramadan, that matters more than usual.
- Honey. Sealed jars, no refrigeration, no time pressure once delivered.
- Desi ghee. Room temperature; will firm up in winter, which is normal.
- Dry fruits. Keep well, though best sent in a sealed jar rather than loose.
Presentation without a hamper
If the gift needs to look like a gift, a single jar of Sidr or Royal Honey with dry fruits reads as considered on its own. Add a note in the delivery-notes field at checkout and we will include it.
After Eid
Honey does not have a season. If you miss the window, the same jars work for weddings, new homes and thank-yous through the year, and courier timings return to the normal ranges published on our delivery areas page.
See the honey and dry fruit jar, or the full honey collection. Delivery times by city are on the delivery page.
Ordering in time
Order a few days before you need it. Delivery runs 3–5 working days nationwide and 1–3 days for Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and the last week of Ramadan is the busiest of the year.
